What is Kid Club?
Kid Club is more than just a free, safe, kid-friendly Minecraft server for kids ages 8-13. It’s also an online community where kids can explore their own creativity through unstructured play, collaborate with peers, and deepen their knowledge of Minecraft. Kid Club is a community-driven Minecraft server run by college and high school aged volunteers that is supported by Connected Camps.

Our expert counselors and volunteers are always online during Kid Club hours, which run Wednesday - Sunday each week from 1pm - 5pm PST.
Additionally, Kid Club will be offline for a few holiday and maintenance periods.
Our counselors offer mentorship in

Our servers are safelisted
This means members have to register with us, so we know who is on our servers at all times. This makes our servers safe and kid-friendly.
We uphold a Code of Conduct
Everyone who joins our server agrees to abide by our Code of Conduct: Don’t grief. Be nice and respectful. Keep information private. Help keep our community friendly. The code also explains what happens if a member violates it – we take violations seriously and work closely with parents and our counselors to quickly resolve any issue.
Our approach is supported by research
The learning approach and design of Connected Camps is backed by lots of research and testing in practice and is part of the Connected Learning Alliance, dedicated to mobilizing new technology in the service of equity, access and opportunity for all young people.
Our Servers are Moderated
Our moderation team is composed of our Counselors, Community Ambassadors, and volunteers. During open server hours a live moderator will be available to help. Our moderators are trained to keep club play fun and friendly. Our Counselors are university students from game design and computer science programs, and our Community Ambassadors and high school volunteers come from schools all over the country.
